🌎The CYD policy Committee has signed on as an ally organization and co-host of Climate Lobby Day! 🌱This event is open to all level of experience and has been increasing over the years as a place to meet community, learn about policy change, and advocate for climate policy! 🌄🚵🏻♂️🪸Environmental justice and changes to protect our climate and environment are a core Colorado Young Dem principal.
Join our team at the event this Friday, March 7th, from 8am-12pm!
First up is a lobby 101 training, breakfast, and bill overview at the First Baptist Church of Denver from 8-9:30am (1373 Grant Street, Denver, CO 80203) , before heading over to the Capitol Building for a picture and entering the building (9:30-12pm or so). There, you will have the opportunity to speak with Colorado lawmakers, urging them to pass legislation to reduce emissions and promote solutions to the climate crisis. After that we will meet up to have lunch and reflect!
