Calyn Rieger

Calyn Dean Rieger, a 25 year old resident of Eagle County, A proud dog dad to his golden retriever rescue, Aiden. Calyn Rieger began his journey into civic life while being an active member of Future Farmers of America and Americorps heavily focusing on agriculture, conservation, natural resources/ wildlife management, and youth development/ education. Calyn continued his journey by triple majoring in Environmental Studies, Political Studies, and Communication at Ripon College, where he enrolled in 2018. During college, he was active in the College Democrats, competed in NCAA Division III Cross Country and Track & Field, and was a brother of Theta Chi.

Since moving to Colorado in 2020, Calyn has run for Avon Town Council in 2022, 2024, and is currently campaigning again. He has served as a Precinct Organizer and held a county officer position within the local Democratic Party. His leadership and service have also earned him re-election or appointment to the Colorado Democratic Party Central Committee, the Platform Committee, and the Outreach Commission, where he continues to champion inclusive, grassroots-driven policies.
