Ron Meehan

Ron Meehan is honored to serve as the Secretary of Colorado Young Democrats where he is committed to getting more young people involved in the Democratic Party, electing Democrats, and enacting policies to improve people’s lives. He has worked on campaigns up and down the ballot from City Council to Governor and is passionate about political organizing, food security, environmental advocacy, and healthcare affordability.

Ron previously served as the Finance Chair of the Alaska Democratic Party, Vice Chair of the Alaska Democratic Party Climate Caucus, National Committee Representative for Alaska Young Democrats, and President of College Democrats of Connecticut. He has extensive experience in youth political engagement through Young Democrats of America, College Democrats of America, and the Alaska Democratic Party. He is a first generation college student and earned a BA from Wesleyan University in Government and Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Foraker Group.
