
Jeremi Medina, MPA
1st Vice Chair
Jeremiah Medina (He/Him/Él) is a passionate changemaker, bridge-builder, and relentless advocate for equity—committed to ensuring every voice is heard and every community has a seat at the table.
Raised in Lakewood, Colorado, Jeremi’s roots in his community run deep. His leadership stretches across the state, where he’s made a lasting impact through service on numerous boards and organizations.
From his national role with Young Invincibles, to advocating for universal health care with Healthcare for All Colorado, to uplifting Latino voices as 1st Vice Chair of the Jeffco Democratic Latino Initiative—Jeremi leads with heart, vision, and a deep sense of purpose. He also serves as a State Outreach Commissioner for CD7, Political Director for Jeffco Young Democrats, and is a former Vice Chair of Community Engagement for the Colorado Young Democrats.
A proud first-generation college graduate, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Society, Health & Policy from Metropolitan State University of Denver—a program he designed himself to reflect the intersections of community and care. As one of the first Co-Chairs (Presidents) of MSU Denver’s student government under a shared governance model, he championed inclusive leadership and student empowerment. As a descendant of the Displaced Aurarians, his connection to the Auraria campus fueled his mission to honor history while building a more just future. He went on to earn his Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, further deepening his commitment to public service.
He’s driven by the belief that transformative change begins at the community level—and that when we lead with compassion, courage, and conviction, anything is possible. He is honored to serve as the 1st Vice Chair of the Colorado Young Democrats, where he will continue working to foster dialogue, build bridges, and uplift voices across the state.
